Human resource management in social services organizations

This thesis is devoted to the Human Resource Management and it is especially focused on Social Services Organizations. The main objective was to determine how is Human Resource Management realized by the directors of these organizations. Secondary objective was to see how are personal work, selection process and personal politics being realized. Even though Human Resource Management is an important part of the leading positions in these organizations, literary sources usually do not connect it to social services. A mixed strategy was used to work on these objectives. For the prepared quantitative part, there was also used a qualitative type of reserch for additional information. The quantitative part was realized by a questionnaire of my own construction and the qualitative part was realized by an interview. During the quantitative part, six regions in The Czech Republic were randomly selected. To October 5, 2019 the Register of social services providers had 1245 organizations registered in these regions (the data collection began on January 6, 2020). 396 organizations have taken part in the questionnaire. During the qualitative part, 24 interviews were done with directors of Social Services Organizations which are located in South Bohemia. The data from the quantitative research were further elaborated in the SASD programme and in Microsoft Excel (using Pearson's chi-squared test, an analysis of adjusted residues and descriptive statistics which were used to identify primary characteristics in research files - the minimal level of significance for these tests was 0,05). The data from the qualitative research were elaborated in the ATLAS.ti programme using open selective and axial coding. The principal outcomes of this thesis are the way Social Services Organizations evaluate their workers, the way they recruit new employees and their methods of further education and progress of their current workers. The results have shown that these organizations handle those subjects well. These organizations used diverse sources when recruiting employees. The evaluation of workers is performed on regular basis and there are specific education plans for progress and further education of workers. Some of the tools of Human Resource Management are not being used, howewer Social Services Organizations are still improving the Human Resource Management.
Strategic human resources management in a selected organization

This diploma thesis investigates the topic of strategic management of human resources in the selected healthcare organization. The aim of thesis is to define short-term and long-term strategic goals of human resources management connected to the basic mission and vision of the department in the healthcare organization. The development of appropriate strategic objectives will be based on the analysis of the internal environment and also will include the results of analysis of external environment. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis involves chapters about human resources as part of strategic management, its history and possible views on that. Other chapters define the human resources management in healthcare, what are the prerequisites for successful management and strategy development. This is also related to personnel management tasks. Afterwards, the specific relevant focus is on ensuring human resources from the point of view of the organization - human resources planning, recruitment and selection of employees, the subsequent adaptation process and staff evaluation. Recruitment and selection of employees

The aim of the thesis is to analyze personnel activities of employee recruitment and selection in Mafra, a.s. company and propose recommendations to enhance effectiveness of these activities. The theoretical part defines the theoretical basis of personal work, personal activities of recruitment and selection of employees and the profile of the modern recruiter. The practical part contains analysis of the activities of recruitment and selection of employees, own research conducted in the form of a questionnaire and an interview with company recruiter. In the last section recommendations to increase the effectiveness of personnel activities are designed based on the analysis and research.

This bachelor thesis deals with selection and recruitment of employees in selected company. In theoretical part of this thesis I define fundamental terms of human resources management. I particularly focus on acquisition, selection and recruitment of employees, which are one of the most important things that every single company has to deal with. I gained theoretical knowledge from a professional literature. In practical part of this thesis I analyze and describe system of selection and recruitment of employees in s. n. o. p. cz a. s. Further, I did an interview and present its findings. The conclusion of this part contains an evaluation of the hiring process and suggestions to improve that process in this company.
Sources of recruitment of employees

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to compare the metods of the recruitment of employees in three types of companies: a huge company with more than 250 people, a small company with less than 49 people and recruitment agency and to recommend improvement. The thesis is divided into a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part has five chapters. It deals with the explanation of the terms from the branch of the recruitment of employees and clarifies which sources can be used. The practical part contains four chapters. It is based on a qualitative research of the interviews with employees who recruit new staffs. The situation is assessed according to these interviews and we offer how to use the sources and suggest optimal changes to make the recruitment process better.

The theme of this thesis focuses on the area of personnel management, which is an indispensable part of the functioning of organizations. This theme includes recruitment, selection and adaptation process of employees at NAPA TRUCKS, spol. s.r.o. It focuses on analyzing the procedures and practices of the company and based on theoretical knowledge by designing practices to improve recruitment, selection and adaptation process of employees. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part is theoretical. The second part contains the description of current practices and for each section makes recommendations for improvement. The aim is to analyze current processes and propose recommendations for streamlining and improving the processes in the company.

The aim of the diploma thesis is to analyse the system of recruitment and selection of employees in the Pacovské strojírny, joint-stock company, identify its strengths and weaknesses and propose measures to improve its effectiveness. Furthermore, via questionnaire survey to determine attitude and satisfaction of workers with the system of recruitment and selection of employees in this company. This thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part defines basic terms and solutions concerning particular problems of recruitment and selection of employees. In the introduction of the practical part there is the company characterization, including its history, the company bodies, employees and department of human resources. Subsequently it is followed by an analysis of recruitment and selection of employess, a formulation of its strengths and weaknesses and a proposition of measures which could lead to its eventual improvement. In last part the questionnaire survey is evaluated, which examines the attitude and satisfaction of the workers with the system of recruitment and selection of employees in the company.

This thesis deals with the issue of human resource management and it is focused on a general description of HR processes of recruitment and selection of staff. It also captures the essence of the recruitment and selection of employees, and identifies conditions that must be observed for making this system is effective. The thesis is divided into two parts. In the first, theoretical part, there are defined the keywords and described the processes and methods of recruitment and selection of employees. In the second, the practical part, there is introduced company X, the structure of its employees and the system of recruitment and selection of employees, which is established in the company. The system is at this place analyzed and compared with the generally accepted theoretical principles. With the questionnaire survey there is also examined satisfaction of employees with the company's process of recruitment and selection of staff. In conclusion of the thesis, the system of recruitment and selection of employees is appraised and there are highlighted its strengths and proposed measures for its improvement.

Subject of this thesis is the problematic of personnel management focusing on the area of attracting and choosing employees. Theoretical part of this thesis is orientated on recruitment and selection of workforce and different methods of these procedures. This part has been written as a recherche of the literature. Practical part of the thesis focuses on concrete activities of recruitment and selection of workforce in company called TECHNOGYM., Ltd. The result of description and analysis of individual personal activities is the suggestion and recommendation for improvement and optimalization of this process. The aim of this thesis is to propose solutions which could help TECHNOGYM to recruit the most appropriate candidates from the labor market that would fit to demands of required work positions and so help to the most effective running of the company.
